If you wish to support LTeam members from the tribunes of the world’s most important sports event and at the same time visit the land of the rising sun, you should start planning your trip now. AB “Novaturas” launches ticket sales for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Monday (the 12th of August 2019).
“Entrusted official ticket reseller status is an important evaluation and also a great responsibility”, underlines Mrs. Audronė Keinytė, CEO of Novaturas - the official and only ticket reseller for Lithuania to the Olympic Games. “Taking care of smooth ticket purchase and travelling processes of the Lithuanian Olympic games delegation and fans is a challenge we accept with great pleasure for the second time in a row”.
AB “Novaturas” has been selected as ATR (authorised ticket reseller) by the National Olympic Commitee of Lithuania (LNOC) and the partnership has been approved by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Games Organising Committee.
“The Olympic Games is such an event that encapsulates the whole world’s attention to the hosting country and both athletes and fans desires to be part of it at least once in their lifetime,’ emphasizes LNOC President and IOC Member Daina Gudzinevičiūtė - a participant of five Olympic Games and Olympic champion. “We have chosen a tried-and-tested partner AB “Novaturas” in order secure smooth travelling process to and from the capital of Japan”.
The Olympic Games will take place from the 24th of July till the 9th of August. The softball and women’s football matches will start two days before the lighting of the Olympic flame, and the rowing and archery competitions will begin on the day of the opening ceremony.
Those who wish to buy tickets to the Olympic Games will find detailed sports lists and ticket pricelists on the website of Novaturas. After receiving queries, the representatives of Novaturas will communicate with each customer individually. Novaturas can also offer assistance in booking hotels and flights.
“Strictly regulated rules allow us selling tickets only for a fixed price and only to the residents of the Republic of Lithuania, i.e. persons with registered residence address in Lithuania. There are cases where attempts are made to purchase tickets or tickets are offered for sale by other means. We recommend people to be very considerate as the ticket sales rules are strict and their breach may result in fines,’ says the CEO of Novaturas.
The Olympic Games will host the representatives of 33 different sports competing for 339 medal sets.
